Evaluation Model
Marks Test (25.00 Marks Scale · Min 30 Net WPM for 10 Marks · 50+ Net WPM for 25 Marks)
The Delhi Police HCM typing test contributes up to 25 marks directly to your final merit list score. Each error subtracts exactly 1.0 WPM directly from your Gross Speed (Net WPM = Gross WPM - Total Errors). Candidates typing below 30 Net WPM receive 0 marks and are disqualified. Scoring starts at 10 marks for 30 WPM and scales up to 25 full marks for speeds above 50 WPM.
Under official Delhi Police rules, every mistake (spelling, omission, punctuation, capitalization) directly deducts 1.0 full WPM from your Gross Speed. There are no half-mistakes.
