The Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT) conducts the Computer Typing Speed Test for Group-C Lower Division Clerk (LDC) posts. Candidates must type at a minimum speed of 30 Net Words Per Minute in English (or 25 NWPM in Bengali) over a 10-minute session. Editing is restricted to the current active word—once the spacebar is pressed, the previous word is locked and cannot be edited. A maximum error rate of 10% is permitted; exceeding this cutoff leads to immediate disqualification.
Candidates must achieve at least 30 Net WPM in English or 25 Net WPM in Bengali over a 10-minute examination duration.
Yes. In accordance with official JRBT computerized skill test guidelines, editing is restricted to the active word before pressing the spacebar. Once spacebar is struck, cursor navigation to previous words is disabled.
A maximum of 10% errors is permitted (minimum 90% accuracy). Candidates with error rates exceeding 10% are disqualified regardless of speed.
